Well, it has been a LONG time since I have last blogged about something. The last time I posted a blog was when I was starting my second semester of my freshman year in high school. Now, I'm about to finish my second semester of my sophomore year. Man, does time fly by or what?!
I have loads to tell!! One, I got my first kiss ;) I got it on December 9, 2010 by my boyfriend, of course. It was at school and MAGICAL! I was crazy about him. Although we are no longer together, I still cherish the good times we had together.
I forgot to tell about one very important thing that happened before I got my first kiss. It all started the day after I got out of school for summer vacation freshman year. My mom took my dad to work the night that I got out for break. Usually my dad would take the bus home from work so that my mom wouldn't have to pick him up. He would usually come home aroung 6 in the morning. That morning, he didn't. Aroung 8:30, my mom woke me up crying saying that my dad hasn't come home yet from work. I was, being a lazy teenager that I am, sleepy and just wanted to go back to sleep. What she said didn't really comprehend into my mind until I woke up fully around 10. She was frantic..calling everyone that she could think of. It dawned on me. My father was gone. I wasn't sure whether he would be gone for a little while or forever. Later on that day, I went into denial. He couldn't be gone. It just didn't make sense. I kept thinking of scenarios that could have possibly happened. Was he kidnapped? Was he killed? Is he alive or dead? I thought of these things because I knew with my whole being that he would never just leave us by ourselves without warning. My mom and I drove to a seclluded spot in our neighbothood and just cried. For hours, we cried. We had all of our friends, family, the police, and detectives involved. This went on for three agonizing days. My dad finally turned on his phone and texted my mom and me saying that he was coming home. My mom and I were happy beyond belief, but when we found out why he was missing for so long, we were deeply hurt. The one man that I knew would never leave us or give up on us, left. He almost lost his job, our only source of income. But this wasn't the only time that he would leave. This also happened withing the first couple of weeks of my new school year, and also a few weeks before Christmas. The last time he left wasn't as bad. He just didn't care the last time. He was only gone for a week. But the second time was the worst. He was gone for three weeks and brought nothing with him except the cash in his wallet. He only had thirty dollars in his wallet. for thirty dollars, you can only survive about four days. When he came back home, his wedding ring was gone. He said that it slipped off somewhere, but my mom and I knew that that wasn't true. He pawned it. I don't know why I didn't see it coming. The day before he left, my dad and I went to the mall to see a movie. After we saw the movie, I wanted to go to the jewwlry store where he bought his and my mom's wedding rings. He asked the lady how much it cost and she told him, $300-$600 dollars depending on the size of the ring. He also got it cleaned. He did all that so that he could pawn it to get money to survive. He planned it. That hurt me so much that he would throw away all of those memories. My plan for the future is to try and find that ring and buy it back, no matter the cost.
Now let's go away from all this drama and just talk about love. Well, not really. There is this guy that I have been talking to and sneaking around with that I like a lot. Although I have been pressured to do things that I wouldn't normally do, I still forgive him.
XOXO
